Well, we just pulled this beauty out of an old basement. And I'm not talking about Dave (even though he is old!) :D
The thing weighed a ton!
I did most of the lifting and pulling! :yearight:

Thought that ya'll might like a look.

Nice Johnson Bar!
The hydraulic pick is helpful too!
I am not an engineer, train or otherwise!
I stay at a Holiday Inn at least once a year!
Most of all I do have common sense and a practical application of logic.
Oh, add humor, on the dry side, along with a wee bit 'o sarcasm.

As I said before, bet you can keep a small 'camp' warm with not much effort! ....while you are resting, whip up a cleanout auger for the damned thing. EFM had some on bigger models, back in the day...soooooo get the engineering hat on and produce one!
This big boy would work well with a 'district heating' plan. 568K..should do 6 or more homes while operating at a moderate rate.

Are you looking for a few of them bigger stoker models like the R 45 45 lbs per hr R 60 60 lbs per hr R80 80 lbs per hr R 100 100 lbs per hr. I know where there is a barn full of them Auger coal in Auger ash out with the coal hoppers on them & the ash cans. There were the first stoker's made by efm back when the Co. started 1922 Pat date back to 1906 they were
stoker conversions to put in the old hand fed furnaces / boilers to make them Auto matic feed & ash remover .Way before efm got into making furnaces / boilers Stoker's Conversion only back then .

That's the Dave I'm talking about. He is the one standing proud as a peacock next to the 1300!
We use to live in the same town as Dave. Great friends w/ the whole family. We still spend quite a bit of time w/ Dave and Linda when we go back to the Adirondacks camping. They stay w/ us when they come down here to coal country looking for boilers. :discuss:
