pm to yahoo inbox?

pm to yahoo inbox?

PostBy: 84wing On: Sun Jun 28, 2009 3:05 pm

Can I receive my pm's from nepa to my yahoo inbox like I do from other sites? I reviewed the f.a.q. and didn't see this issue posted, maybe I just missed it.
The reason this can be important, example... I pm'd a person here with a for sale item and they never got back with me, after some time went by I did some research from that persons posts and I came across there phone#. I called and got them on the phone and told them I had pm'd them, there reply was I don't log into that site much so I wouldn't know if you pm'd me. Any thoughts? Oh by the way the item was still for sale but I was no longer intrested in that item as I changed gears towards a boiler instead of a radiant coal stove as that was what the seller had..

The contents of the pm itself are not sent but you can have a notification sent to the email address you registered with that you have a PM

 Click the " User Control Panel" link on the top.
 "Board Preferences" tab
 select yes for "Notify me on new private messages:"

By default any email options are set to no when you register. Most sites have this set to to yes but to avoid any issues with someone thinking I'm spamming them I require you activate it yourself.

There's a detailed explanation here for what each tab and sub tab does: http://nepacrossroads.com/faq.php?mode=ucp

I don't know why I didn't see that before. Just changed the setting, thanks.
