Is your next door neighbor financially responsible for you?

Would you have a right to ring his/her doorbell and demand a cash payment for services you deem compassionate?

It's time America gets it's house in order and it starts with yours and mine, we do not need more Government intervention.

YMMV

And want to guess how "affordable" it is?

I'll give you a clue, it's more than my regular home owners insurance. Effectively doubling my payment.

Oh I can't wait for ObamaCare......

You wish. It's a grand a month. And if that fails to to move you, they'll do what Mass did and raise the penalty to more than what insurance costs.

Enjoy having a gun to your head "for your own good"?

I don't....

Ouch! OK, I'll be happy paying my 10 grand. NOT. I dunno, it just seems 10 grand a yr is a bit much. And, my wife is a nurse, supposedly she gets a discount. If she worked full time her's would be paid by the hospital, but 24 hrs a week pays no benifits. We looked into private insurance, but it would end up more as we both have pre-exisiting conditions. It sucks living in the USA. (But, it sucks less than anyplace else on Earth)

So what did Adrian Rogers know back in 1931 that we don’t seem to know or understand today.

"You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."
