Hunting on Sunday?

Hunting on Sunday?

PostBy: FedFire47 On: Sat Oct 16, 2004 3:14 pm

I'm not a hunter but I work with a lot of hunters and they have mixed feelings about PA proposing hunting on Sunday. I personally think it's a good idea I don't know why you can't anyway. Anyone with any opinions on this?

To many who love hunting & work all week, it's a wonderful thing. They may not go out because they only have one day to go. Some work Mon-Sat & have to take sick or vacation days to enjoy their favorite pastime! Hunting on Sunday would also help reduce the number of deer I'd likely hit on the road. The only thing I personally wouldn't like would be the fact that it's another day I'd be afraid to let my daughter outside to play, as we live in the middle of hunters paradise. :|

One day a week is supposed to be a day of rest. That rule is not only ment for humans, but for animals too. Give'em a break. Let the animals have some piece for at least one day. IMO I vote no for hunting on Sunday.

Well, it's been a while since I've posted this. Now I think I may agree w/ya there timberman. Albeit for selfish reasons. If the deer can rest then so can I. My husband won't be expecting me to get up early to sit out in the freezing cold on my day off. :-$
