Yep, kewl! Good for Google. My thoughts?
1) MS will start a dz frivelous lawsuits to delay the release.
2) MS MAY try to buy them out.

'Bout time another OS was brought into the mix.

In a post on its official blog, Google said the new operating system was a "natural extension" of its Google Chrome Web browser.

The Mountain View, Calif., search-engine behemoth said that it would target the new operating system initially at netbooks, the popular small portable PCs. Eventually Google plans to expand the system to run on a full range of PCs.

A basic "web terminal" type appliance, just enough OS to run a web browser, open office, mabye a music device and printing is all a lot of users really need.
