Anybody getting real slow page loads?

PostBy: Richard S. On: Tue Nov 21, 2006 1:53 pm

LsFarm is having some trouble with really slow page loads and I was wondering if anyone else was. I'm getting instant response so I think it's a problem on his end. Just wondering if there was anyone else?

I'm in and out of the forum all day. I get super quick downloads.

No problem here.

No problems here either. Greg, you need your help to pedal a little faster to provide more power from that generator! Is the slowness at home or at the airport/hotel rooms as well? You may have a puter issue. Run Ccleaner or disk cleaner in your MS accessory system tools. Run Ad-aware SE. You may have a trojan horse hi-jacking your processor. Hope that helps...Dave

The problem appears to be with the ISP in the Marriott Hotel in San Jose Ca. I tried my co-pilot's laptop as well as mine, and his was super slow accessing the NEPA site just like mine.

I'm back in JFK now, and the site is just as fast as normal. So it was an issue with the internet connection out there. Odd thing was that it was ONLY the NEPA site! Weather .com, eBay.com. Google.com etc were all very fast. ??? don't know.... %%#$^& computers anyway!!! :?

Hey everyone have a great Thanksgiving,

As I mentioned in the PM that is really odd because if anything it should have actaully been faster (by a few milliseconds :P )since the server is located in Cal. Anyhow if anyone comes across anything that seems odd or any suggestions please let me know.

I seem to have that effect on computers. Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

Thankfully this doesn't seem to apply to the computers in the airplane I fly!!

I'll see if it is still slow the next time I'm in SJC.
