You are deliberately missing the point. A tactic often used when one is trying to defend the indefensible. Article 2, section 1 of the Constitution says that "No person except a natural born Citizen or a Citizen of the the United States at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of the President." If Obama is ineligible every law he signed is void and all his actions as the Commander and Chief are illegal. To quote Joe Bidden, "this is Big F*(&*)ing deal." Further, he knowing committed fraud on the people of this county. The point is Obama could stop all this conversation cold, why doesn't he? It's not hard to get an official copy with the raised seal of the state on it if you were born after 1950. I was born in IA and I haven't lived there in 45 years but I still got one delivered overnight after a couple of phone calls. I needed it for a variety of things - my entrance into the Army, obtaining my passport, and getting my original driver's license. My parents needed one to enroll me in school. My question is how did Obama do some of these same things without an official, with the raised seal of Hawaii, birth certificate. For that matter, it doesn't matter to me if he doesn't have the birth certificate if his mother - a known citizen - registered his birth with the State Department from the Embassy of whatever country she was living in at the time; like John McCain's parents did. That would have given him citizenship that no one would question. That would seem like an important thing to do, don't you think? As it stands, the whole situation just gets more strange with each passing day. Did you see that AZ has passed or proposed a law that anyone appearing on a ballet in the state must prove eligibility for that office? I'm sure that Obama will challenge that in court but it could get interesting. The Constitution is silent on how a state conducts elections, making that a state issue under Amendment X - all powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the States respectively or to the people. Like I said, it's easy to prove. Your statement "The only birthers left in this country now are in mental institutions or on this forum" is obviously untrue or it wouldn't be back in the news again and from a growing number of individuals. Hey, why don't you tell us a legitimate reason why he won't produce the birth certificate or State Department form of foreign birth? The claim that it's just to hard to get stinks to high heaven. Or by the way I'm not a birther, if his mother was a citizen, it doesn't matter where he was born but he still has to prove he was born of her just like you or I would have to prove our birth right citizenship in any number of situations. The birthers can`t be in mental institutions, Reagan shut most of then down in the 80s. Let those people go fend for themselves.

Rberg, I don`t know how to break this to you but its rumored that Andre was seen in the coastal waters of Mother Russia on several occasions, & that his father was actually a walrus of unknown waters. Thus your claim that your state seal was raised in your state is not the same as an official raised state seal. You will have to produce other seals that remember him from their school.

So what - if it's there why not release it. Wouldn't that shut us all up? Why continue to have the question out there? What does Obama gain by not releasing it? Nothing I can see. What would he gain by releasing it? Putting an end to all the questions and legitimizing his presidency. You are defending the indefensible - again.

Just a question here, because I really don`t know what constitutes releasing the certificate, should it tour the country & perhaps some scholars should be permitted to take bits of it for lab analysis. IMO every organization that has a legitimate reason to see it has, are the birth certificates of all our living & past presidents on display somewhere? Just what would truly be enough?
