Very pretty installation. I think you will like it. I had a similar Russo wood stove for 18 years. It was a good heater, rugged and well made.

i do like the stove.it appears to be very well made.i just have to wait for the weather to cool off to give it the first fire.the wife is going have to take the baby out for awhile so they dont inhale any of that stinky paint smoke.
i would like to see how long a burn time i get out of it,i would expect to be around 12 hrs?

Hi Chis, It's pretty much done. Just got to regasket the doors. Going to take a ride to see Larry Trainer in the fall and get the gasket materials and maybe some other goodies.

I had a chubby, they are bulletproof and wow can they put out the heat!! I also kept mine up on cinder blocks so I did not have to bend over so far to load it. Looks good. Hey Mark, your stove looks awesome too. :punk: I just need a bigger living room so my stove can come out of the basement.

That looks alot like my Russo, except I got a cast bronze-brass door frame, and the shaker is on the right side of stove. Ash pan too small, otherwise bullet proof. I'd like to make a insert fire box to go inside the main fire box for smaller, yet deep, burns.
