Electricity generation

Re: Electricity generation

PostBy: Freddy On: Sat Aug 08, 2009 5:27 am

I built one but doubled the inducer. I'm now powering my next door neighbor. He added an inverse capacitor and is powering his neighbor who added a Maytag gearbox and flex cable to run his lawnmower. It's simply amazing!
Any more bids on the bridge I have for sale? Going....going....

Hands up all those that think unemployment is under 10%. That will tell me where I need to focus my marketing of the perpetual motion machine.

Yes, I read about that as well. Yesterday I heard a sound clip on the news from our wonderful President who was practically gloating over the drop in job losses, telling us minions how the economy was finally beginning to turn around (due to all of his deeds-of course).

Last I checked, the unemployed percentages were only based on who is 'collecting' unemployment insurance. Once your benefits run out, you get dropped down a dark hole, never to be heard from again, and you are no longer counted as "Unemployed". RAISE YOUR HANDS if you have exhausted your unemplyment benefits. I bet theres several MILLION out there who have.

Exactly, if the people who have dropped down that "dark hole" are included then the unemployment rate hovers around 16%.

I`ve been thru this before in the 80s & there is no quick fix. Probably even worose just because there is even less production going on in this country than there was then. This has been coming for a long time, once you send all the work to the south or far east theres not much left to recover with. Everyone in this country wants instant gradification, don`t want to wait or really work for anything. There are only so many service jobs, the biggest employer now is probably the fed.,state & local gov.s & when theres no tax money coming in they can`t keep running.

Yes we did and it's my fault, wave a red red in front of a bull and expect things to happen. So let us return to electricity generation as Obbummmer is clearly determined to crash the gird which is even now LONG overdue for upgrades.

YOUTUBE Lister 6/1. I would send a picture of my little generating shed but the real engineers on this board would laugh me out of town.

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid= ... bHcz0ryM_E

I bought four Lister 6/1s coupled to a 4 crapola Indian, thrown together, 5KW alternators. These are 1930 design, low IP, pressure, indirect injection, 6HP diesel motors. These turn ultra slow and are good for many years. The fisherman in Glouster (MA) will tell you they last forever. They thrive on WVO that I got from the local Japanese restaurant as they did not have the volume to pay a recycler. All this is well known and documented, read utterpower.com for more info. Where it was getting interesting was down the road is Prosser chicken farm and over the road is Johnsons pig farm. I found that mixing these two together and leave in the sunshine for a few days and man do you have methane. Now I start with kerosene and gradually inject methane carefully (my right eyebrow never fully recovered). You can generate enough power with one unit to power a home. My little farm requires a lot more power so I bought four. So it's not really free electricity like I was hoping for but it's close and requires a lot of labor.

Observations, perspirations and bloviations anyone.

There we go, Sam we are back on topic.

The Lister engines are indeed tough little cookies.
Great for electrical generation and simple to run.
Another low tech solution!

its a hoax/scam

PPM is a contradiction - and - coaldswet is correct - if it were possible Tesla would have invented it already. He was the real genius who was not only an inventor like Edison but understood the physics behind the mechanisms and the theoretical limitations.

No one creates energy. The genius is in the clever ways to convert from one from one form to another in a way that requires the fewest resources and loses the least amount of power in the conversion.

Im a "wanna be" engineer and I still cling to the hope that someone will find a practical way for a homeowner to convert large piles of free wood (which I do have) into electricity which is getting more expensive every year.

The major hurdle right now is scale. There are no practical solutions that scale down to the size of a homeowner.

I keep holding out hope.

I belong to a electricity co-op & recently they installed with Gov. help a power from cow manure plant at a nearby farm & so far its powering the farm & producing enough excess for between two to three hundred homes. If its a quick enough pay back which they said all indications are they will be installing more.

I just had a thought....concerning most State Capitals, and certainly the District of Columbia Area!
Considering the raw material, (Bulls**t) that seems to fester there...it's a no brainer!!! GaZillions of potential KW's merely 'venting' now could be captured. and redirected to a usable source: Electrical Generation. There will NEVER be a shortage of "Raw Material", so it's a virtually perpetual machine!!

I'm gonna ask Sting to look over the situation after the holidays...until then...chill out....................

Can`t use that whistlenut, it has to be a controllable energy source. Try & harness the bullcrap just might end up in world destruction.
