That may be true for bulk coal deliveries within PA. But is not true for deliveries to another state. Most local tri-axles companies, large or small, frequently only have tags for in-state hauling. I tried to find a tri-axle for delivery to MD. Neither Penn Coal or I could find a trucker willing to do it. Tractor trailer yes, but no tri-axles. I'm not saying it can't be done but it's hard to find. You likely would have to find a trucking company regularly hauling stone between your state and PA.Captain Michael wrote:Guys,
Coal delivery is really no different than general frieght to a trucking co. If you want bulk, just contact a local trucing co. with a triaxle and price the round trip to the breaker of your choice.
