I don't have much experience using it either. Just test cases with friends in which we personally exchanged keys which then resided on our own computers. I believe more people should be interested in using it. Not to cloak what they are saying but for purposes of being sure they are communicating with the person they think they are actually communicating with. That's why some e-mails from web security companies have PGP signatures attached to them. The text is clear text and you can be certain it came from the right sender and the text is not altered.
