WSJ Editorial

Anyone else read the "Whole Foods Alternative to ObamaCare " in the WSJ yesterday?

http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB2 ... 0072865070

John Mackey is the CEO of Whole Foods. I think most of what he writes is spot on. A few hightlites

• Remove the legal obstacles that slow the creation of high-deductible health insurance plans and health savings accounts (HSAs).

• Equalize the tax laws so that that employer-provided health insurance and individually owned health insurance have the same tax benefits.

• Repeal government mandates regarding what insurance companies must cover.

• Enact Medicare reform. (i.e. phase it out, put enough in your HSA to cover your old age.)

The loonys at the town hall meeting need to stop their histrionic screaming and start talking in an intelligent way about better ideas.

Sure, every (wo)man on his own. If Mr. mackey thinks so little of the government and their ability to get it done, he ought to consider giving back any tax breaks his stores have received over the years from municipalities eager to have a Whole Paycheck store in their town.

Yeah your right those "loonys"

How the left embraces "intelligent" dialog.

This is the same government that brought us the U.S. Postal Service and Amtrak. I for one don't have any faith they could handle health care any better.

If the post office charged $20 to mail a letter like Fedex does it would be profitable and do a better job.
