Hi,
3/4 of my garage is below ground.Meaning any stove with a power vent or direct vent would have to be piped up then out.
About 4 to 6 feet up depending where in the garage. Is this ok. Might get a Leisure line or alaska stove or something used.
I have enough rice and buck coal for a season that was sitting in the bottom of my coal bin when they deliver the nut coal.Any advice or good links would be appreciated
Rick

I`m by far no expert but to me you have the ideal set up for a direct or power vent, most of the stoves that I have seen either are or can be top vented so figureing the height of the stove & a slight upward angle you`ll need very little flue pipe.

Shouldn't be a problem. I run my direct vent up the wall of the garage and out the side (Existing hole) with my power vent on my keystoker. Just make sure you check/clean any horizontal section out at least 1-2 times during the season.
