Your frugal and benevolent governments will lay claim to half of the sum, so you better not spend more than 50 Million or you will have to find another job to pay back taxes or perhaps you will end up in jail like Richard Hatch.

How about a non-taxable trust fund to benefit the coal miners and workers who provided us with the fuel in the first place?
I'm guessing that having all that money would alter most folks in an unfavorable way. Sure, keep some for yourself, family and friends, but just being wealthy doesn't make you a descent person. We all know many folks with a HUGE portfolio; some are wonderful, others........nuff said.
You would be lonely on the mountaintop retreat after a while; watching the waves crest on the beach; flying or yachting all over the world; hosting an never ending party......

It may not be the perfect place to live for everyone, but I REALLY enjoy it right here in the USA! :D :D

PS: I'd start a coal yard and boiler/stove/rehab sales center and make jobs for folks. Perhaps earn a living from it too! :dancing: :crutch:

I'd pay my bills forward for 30 yrs. Maybe buy a new mattress. Then, I'd hire someone to go to Guatemala & see about helping those people. I dunno....always felt sorry for them & have helped them out now & then through Food For the Poor. If that hired person found it perfectly safe, maybe I'd go myself & check it out. It's amazing how a small amount of money can do big things down there. For less than 3 grand you can build a house for a family, for $500 feed & educate a kid for a year. OK, now that I've drilled a few wells and build a bunch of houses.... a nice 50 foot two masted schooner would be built for me. Ohhh, that'd be fun, cruise the seas and check out friendly ports around the world. Yaaaa.

We built a church down there for $3000. Its safe. I didn't go personally, but I helped fund a buddy who did go. Go yourself, you won't regret it.

I'd give 10% to my church, then keep enough to be sure my wife didn't have to work, my kids wouldn't have to worry about college and pay off my bills. The rest I'd give away to charities.

Well, after taxes I'd be left with 70 million.  First off I'd take care of all my family. No one would ever have to work again. Then I'd build a nice new house on a hill overlooking the lake. This house would have EVERYTHING. Buy a nice boat, a couple of really nice classic cars and motorcycles. I've always wanted a 1970 Barracuda :D . Buy a few winter homes in Florida, Arizona and California. I'd donate to charities, invest, buy a nice big RV, buy all of my forum buddies a truck load of coal each and then of course the best gift of all would be to RETIRE!!!!! :dancing: :band:

I convert it all to gold wait for BO to tank the economy gather my family move to someplace like Costa Rica. Either way the government has no way to track it and at 100 million who cares about investment interest if you spend it wisely. I would keep an eye on my close friends to assist them when needed. My church would not accept money from gambling and I don't gamble myself so unless somebody gave me a lottery ticket It would never happen. I can always hope if somebody wants to make me a millionaire I won't turn it down.

Sorry guys, I just purchased the winning ticket for the 350 million. I just hope I don't have to share it with anyone. I will see how many silver and gold coins I can get in my pickup. When Obama is finished destroying this country, it will cost $350 million to fill your gas tank and buy a case of Guinness. I want to keep what I got. P.S. Richard, I will buy that coal truck that you are selling and visit everyone on the forum with a full load of coal. Then buy a small island in the Philippines to retire in. There is no coal in the Philippines so I guess I will have to import some. 8-) A '64 4 speed dual-quad posi traction 409 just like the song. Oh I forgot I still want an M1 garand and a B.A.R. :rambo:
