Mahanoy City ? TWP

I am looking to buy a house in Mahanoy city or the twp nearby. It will be close to the railroad tracks and I81. Does anyone know anything about the area? is there any work in nearby Hazleton? It will probably be a fixer-upper for a relative. Is there a Wal-mart nearby or any big stores? Any guidance will be much appreciated. How close is this to the Breakers?

Mahanoy is where Blashack Coal is based, good coal is probably right around the corner for your new house.
