You will find no issues with Centralia's Coal. Keep us posted anyway. Not much bad stuff anywhere in the retail pipeline.
If one company falters, it makes everyone look very bad. You probably will be pleasantly surprised with all offerings on the market today. Sure, some have lower ash content, but maybe lower BTU's/lb. Some have higher ash content, but higher BTU's. Pick your poison. Almost everyone blends their stock, so like homogenized milk...it's pretty much the same everywhere. :D :alone: :secret: :discuss: :drunk:

NEPA Anthracite: It's what's for winter!!!

270/ton is very fair for bagged in your local area. I think it is around 250ish at the plant! Truckers need to make a decent living also, and that is 'pretty skinny' on the 'decent living side of the wallet!
You could always burn propane of oil..........Coal would have to be around 550/ton to equal today's oil and propane prices, BTU to btu.  .

There was a question about whether CSM was still in business on one of the forums I just read, so I called them and they are alive and well in Three Rivers Mass. Tel: (413)-284-4334. The owner Mark Bogacz is a peach of a guy and will do fine as oil prices continue to rise. Bagged coal today is $270/ton + delivery.
