9-6-09 FROST!

PostBy: Freddy On: Sun Sep 06, 2009 6:45 am

Need I say more? Here it is 6:45 AM & there's still frost on the roof of the garage & house! A tad early this year. A sign of shivery things to come? The wifes flower gardens aren't to happy about it.

42 here, gardens are still safe, hoping to kill off the pesky mosquitoes with a frost, but no need to rush winter along.

Still the best time of the year is to come....can't wait!!! :D

Here it is noon time and it's the most beautiful day of the year. I'll take frost every morning if it turns out like this!

No frost here yet but the evenings have been dropping to the low 50s. (living within a couple of miles of the ocean does alot to influence the air temps). Pool was a balmy 83 f last week, and now it is already 72... brr. Gonna close her up next weekend :( I AM looking foward to the fall. It is my favorite time of the year. Have a great evening everyone!!

nothing yet here, 38 was the coldest so far around this area. Mostly in the 40's and 50's at night.
