I'm on board with it, captain my captain. I like green.

I had a guy I use to work with telling me that coal any coal was bad for the planet, yadda, yadda, yadda. So I said prove it to me and I will stop burning coal. He stoped by to see me just before I left for Michigan the other day and low and behold there was a new Harman stoker in the back of his truck. I said thought it was bad, he said after checking the numbers the coal we use makes less of an impact on the planet than anything else does.

I knew this group wouldn't stear anyone the wrong way!

Fisher double doors where called mama bear wood stove only no coal in that at least no Anthracite coal maybe Bit.
When fisher was getting out of the stove building business there was alot of knock off Companies using fisher name
not all of them where UL apoved and had baffle plate All of the Original Fisher stoves had a baffle plate in them Is there two tabs up in the corners of the stove to hang a plate if not it probably a knock off Fisher if there is get one for it with out it you will loose alot more heat up the chimney and have faster burn times . Also install a MHD in the stove pipe to controll the stove .
Fisher must of liked bears or nusery rhymes every wood stove he made had the bear name in it Grandpa bear PaPa bear MaMa bear baby bear do a seach on here you will find a few threads about fisher wood stoves

I cast my vote for the fire, due to my deep-seated opposition of anything green ... :D

But seriously, I changed my mind when I saw that it was for the main forum, & the coal fire pic will remain on the coal section of the forum.

That's a mint picture! I've never been there, but would more than likely recognize that section of river if I was to go there now. I can see myself speeding down the river with my new Johnson 6hp 2-smoker! 8-)

You can't do it for most of the river but in that particular section it is like a lake and can support nearly any size boat. People getting pulled around on water skis is pretty common site. On the right hand side once you get past those rocks there is very deep channel, it practically goes down like the side of the mountain. Maybe 15 or 20 feet deep. You could probably run with any size boat about 20 feet from shore. Over on the left it's shallow so you have to be careful not to get to close to the shore, probably have to stay out at lest 100 foot.

New logo looks good, though I miss the fire. New logo kinda has a gator-aid look too it. Hopefully there will be no copy right
issues! :D
