The only problem with your theory CC is that those same folks are all headed to Vermont to clog the roads up here looking at leaves.

I agree though, I love the temperature change to cool in the AM and somewhat warm by noon.

What summer? The last week of August? :D What's up with all the Great White's nibbling on the seals? The nature freaks will want to build a buoyed fence around the Cape!

The news needs to focus on all the terrific things going on down there! Beautiful place to live or visit! :D

Yeah, and on the way to VT, they are going to pass through NH. I-93 will be the usual rolling traffic jamb !

Summer can't be over. In order for something to end, it has to start! Two weeks of 80* is not a start, so, I predict, summer has yet to begin! But, yes, the traffic has thinned out, the air is cool, and it's starting to be my favorite time of year.

Summer was an absolutely fabulous two weeks! I remember every day of it, and will fondly recall them as the snow piles up!
The Great White Shark thing.....they have always been around. The Boston harbor clean up and the protection of the seals
has brought about a huge seal population. Where there are seals..........there is good eating! The great whites are already
protected.....as if they need it! Not likely to go out there and swim with them. They did manage to tag a few....we will see
what it tells us.

I think with the seasonal opening of the Scusset Beach Tunnel , it helps to get all them tourists home. ;)
