Yes I just read that somewhere else, I didn't catch the very end of the show did the producer say that?

If he's playing his cards right each one will escalate but I'm not sure how you top possible murder.

In a follow up to the Senate vote the House has voted 345-75 to drop all federal funding for Acorn. All 75 nays were Democrats. What's interesting is one of the usual suspects Barney Frank did not vote, guess he's covering his ass.

WASHINGTON — House Republicans succeeded Thursday in eliminating federal funding to ACORN, the community organizing group that has come under heavy fire in the wake of damaging undercover videos that purport to show counselors giving advice on tax fraud to a "pimp" and "prostitute."

The House voted 345-75 to strike ACORN funding from a student aid bill with two voting present.

The Defund ACORN Act prohibits any "federal contract grant, cooperative agreement or any other form of agreement (including a memorandum of understanding" from being awarded to or entered into with the group. It also prohibits federal funds "in any other form" from being provided.

The first mention of it was in my paper today but is about as left as you get. Probably the only reason it was mentioned was because Casey was one of the 7 senators voting no. They glossed it over, the numerous tapes were not mentioned and no mention of the underage girls.

This link is broken, either the page no longer exists or there is some other issue like a typo.

U.S. Sen. Bob Casey was one of only seven senators who voted this week against denying federal money to an organization often accused of voter fraud - and lately of advising conservative activists posing as pimps and prostitutes how to get help financing brothels.

Chris Wallace is going to have Bertha Lewis the CEO of Acorn on Fox News Sunday, coming up at 9AM locally here. Should be interesting, she's stated it will be her only appearance on Fox.

I've heard some audio of her a few days ago in which she plays the victim card and was implying James and Hanna were racist for dressing up the way they did. :!:

Frankly I'm getting a little tired of the race card as is the rest of America. One hope I did have with Obama as President is that a lot of this could finally be put to rest but it appears it's getting worse.

Another nail in the coffin, she wouldn't answer the direct question about whether they will be performing independent audit and allowing that audit to be public. Really makes no difference as the subpoenas will be arriving soon.
