Folks,
I can't login from my company issued laptop whether at home or in the field. I can login from home on my home PC. This has not been an issue in the past. What can be wrong?

Its possible if you are trying to go thru your Company's network, they may have picked up on the fact that this site is not "Business-related" thus they blocked it. Try getting on your HOME network with your work Laptop, but DON'T start up your companies VPN. See if you can access nepacrossroads that way...

You can view the pages? Just can't login?
No way I can upgrade to latest IE or FF. But this has never been an issue until last week when I forgot my password on the road. Typically I stayed logged in but for some dumb reason, I cleared my history and my cookies and since then, can't login. Asked for a password request thru your system but still can't get in with the auto generated pw.Richard S. wrote:My only guess cap is they are blocking the cookie. When you hit submit does it tell you that you successfully logged in and then log you out. I asked for details above...

yourwindowsloginname@nepacrossroads.txtTechnically possible based on some things but if it's through the same connection you're using on the PC then I don't see how. There are some minimal security checks done such as tying the first two octets of the IP to the session. For example you're ip is XX.XX.XX.XX, it checks the firast two numbers, only reason I don't check the last two is because of AOL which will frequently switch them. I don't see anything in the error logs to indicate that is the case.
Try manually deleting the cookie. You can either wipe them all:
Click: Tools>Internet Options>General Tab ..... Under the heading "Browser History" click the "delete" button. This will bring up a pane for selecting what you want to delete, click the "delete cookies" button. Click close, note that doing this will log you off of every site you visit....
Or just the one for this site:
Go to search and look for an files with the text "nepacrossroads". you should find one called:
- Code: Select all
yourwindowsloginname@nepacrossroads.txt
Just delete it or others like that.
