Coalcast episode 8: "Coal Quality"

The topic for our eighth live broadcast will be the most controversial yet, "Coal Quality".

In this show the discussion will be about different qualities of coals such as the eternal Stripped vs. Deep mined debate and the differences between white and red ash coals.

Hmmm...I've only experienced the white ash types. I'm very curious about the red ash types. Could it be a high level of iron in the coal?

Mike, whats the difference between bone and shale? Or are they the same?
