The whole ditty, praising the country, Congress, Bush, and the people for help in a storm, a bit different than just generally singing the praises of just the prez.

Our country’s stood beside us
People have sent us aid.
Katrina could not stop us, our hopes will never fade.
Congress, Bush and FEMA
People across our land
Together have come to rebuild us and we join them hand-in-hand!

Erik I think it's a bit of stretch to compare the two. Considering it's in Washington DC the parents knew they would be participating and knew the words to the song? It's also a public event.

It's not that they are singing this song, it's where they are singing this song and what circumstances. I saw another video where kids in church were singing about Bush and that like your example it is not that same as being sung in public school. That video certainly brings into question the Church's non profit status but that's for another topic. ;)

I don't think it was mentioned but this song was tied in with a book tour, the book is about Obama. The author of the book is apparently the one that originally released it. Somewhere in that video, I believe the poster on the easel, is an advert for the book. So not only are we singing a song praising Obama but we're promoting a book inside a school that I'll venture to guess is heavily biased and to top it all off these kids are being used as pawns for advertising it.

Honestly the thing I find most disturbing about the whole incident is that someone can video tape kids in school and post those videos online without the permission of the parents.

Once again you cannot make an argument on the merits so you resort to calling people names.

You obviously don't know me very well. I often vote libertarian. I vote across party lines and ticket split regularly. I subscribe to Reason Magazine. I attended the RNC in Minneapolis/St Paul last summer. I was in a sky box for Palin's speech. I probably would have voted for McCain if he had picked Romney, (or Lieberman) as VP.

But more important than any of that is the safety and privacy of my kids. I have 3 girls under 8. They're smart enough to dismiss any feel good BS (spirit or pride songs which is what this was) that gets thrown their way because my wife and I have raised them well. But there are a lot of creeps who prey on kids out on the internet. If my kid was in that class the video would be off YouTube because they would have got a C&D from me for not having clearances to use video of my kids.

If you voted based on vice pres. What where you thinking . I work in Delaware and Joe Biden is as dumb as a post. He is also a lair. He used the death of his wife for simpathy. His wife was not killed by a drunk driver as he stated.

11 more:

http://bighollywood.breitbart.com/jjmno ... -to-obama/

Big Hollywood has already posted a couple disturbing videos of young school children singing/speaking praises to President Obama, but when eleven more dropped in our email box it came as quite a shock. What seemed like an aberration now appears to be a troubling pattern.

Maybe “epidemic” is a better word.

Each one of the videos below is creepier than the last because the further down you go, the younger the children — brace yourself for kindergartners – except for the last and most disturbing video, which you have to see to believe.

Don't worry about it! Can't you understand? Those songs were being sung in English! Nobody speaks English here anymore so very few people understand!
