I Just paid 396 for a pallet 1.25 tons in Canaan,NH would like to go in on a truck load of nut or pea with a few people, I wouldn't mind getting a few years supply if the price is right.

That seems a little on the high side of 'fair and reasonable'. I assume you are probably burning about 4 or 5 tons, so you could stock up and get 2 years supply and split the rest with a couple friends. I'll stay in touch. It's 279 here for a couple more days.
