recent efm 350 installation

Here are a couple of pictures on my recent 350 installation. This unit was just completed on Monday. This is a reconditioned unit I purchased from scrapper. I managed to deliver and set up the unit myself with friends. The efm website and printable manual were a great help. The unit was completed by my plumber.
The electric hot water heater is hooked up but it is not working it is just a back-up. I plan on running the boiler year round. The unit is heating a 1475 square foot Cape Cod house that had electric baseboard heat with a propane fireplace. Now there are two hot water zones one for each floor.

Nice unit, nice installation.....many years of trouble-free, economical heat and hot water. Better say thanks for the dinosaurs...for making the coal layer happen......... a 'few centuries later'. Who knew!

Enjoy.....and scrap that electric resistance baseboard. With coal, it sure seems that what has gone around is coming back again. Kinda like a kid who thinks his parents are not too bright, then when he or she turns 40; realizes that they were pretty damned smart after all! Hopefully in time to relay that message to them before their time is up.....
