I need some advice/opinions

Im heating with a Crane 44 (always my fav.), biggest punch for the size, easy to maintain, cant be killed... I was just explaining via PM how ive overheated this lil' puppy so hard once (during testing phases) that i could literally see through the upper plate! after cooldown the only ill effect was the upper half of the stove turned a greyish white color (painted and the stove is still in operation today some 25 years later!).
