Ney Yorker vs Thermo-Dynamics

Can anyone tell me what is the better oil furnace and why? New Yorker my sister just had installed is so small. My Thermo-Dynamics is a bit larger but also has a wet base that I think may be an advantage over the New Yorker. I am not sure.
