i know there are a couple of 2-10-2s that came into the states recently and were running revenue frieght trains in the midwest. :)

I too recommend the ride on the Bel Del. I've volunteered there a few times, but spend most of my time volunteering with the Ringoes/Flemington line. Great people at both locations. Can't really go wrong with New Hope either -- nice run, though I heard their steamer is down... Maybe it was just a minor maintenance issue. If not, I hope they have it up soon. Our steamer in Ringoes is just pending federal inspection and should be up next year, making three steamers all within a little over a half hour of each other!

Hey, Chris, we ride the Flemington/Ringoes line a couple times a year. My kids love it, even though the Steam Loco is not running yet. Haven't hit the P-burgh ride yet, but we got an invite to go on the New Hope ride this Sunday.

Hey, found this little article in a freebie mag that shows up once a quarter. It lists four rides from NY, PA and NJ including Mark's ride :) I get a kick out of the picture of the train along the Delaware River. It's out side of Phillipsburg and the flow rock you see in the picture, well that's what they use to do with municipal sewage sludge back in the day. :?
