Can anyone tell me how to tell the difference between a Losch 600 and a 700? According to the specs I have, they are both the same size! The grate is about 11 1/2" x 29" depending on where you measure!
Thanks.

Are you finding these things hidden in mines? Coalberner or Steve might know; not me. heck, I've never seen one.
But I did speak with a gentleman who as a 16 year old, bought a Hupmobile...with a blown headgasket. 22" tires on the Huppy....2006 we finally went back 22" wheels.....what goes around, comes around.
I'll bet you won't find any Hup's out in the backwoods tree-lines, while you search basements for stokers.
I am still at a loss as to why the complexity of water tubes makes the Losch so much better. I understand the concept, but it sure adds some complexity to a hydronic circuit...and repair of said item. Have a great loooong weekend.
