Coal in Mass.

Well, I finally bought some Balshack Nut. I bought it from Patriot Coal in Taunton. Jim (I think) runs the place and his son in law and grandchildren do work in the field with heating systems, etc.. He is actually making some coal boilers and will be having them UL approved in the near future. They sure seem to be built well but they are prototypes for the moment. Some really cool controls and safety features built in. I won't let the cat out of the bag any more than that-I'll let him do that when he's ready. Jim and his son in law are great guys to talk to. I have made 3 trips and picked up 2 pallets. He has more coming in later next week. I'm going to get another pallet. That will be more than I need for this winter. He will sell it for 275/ton if you buy 3 or more tons. He told me to take the first load home even though I didn't pay him a cent or even tell him who I was.All I had was credit card and they don't take them I guess. I thought that was pretty old time cool.Every trip I make I spend a good 1/2 hour talking with them. They just like showing off their work and just talking about all sorts of stuff with me. Nice people. I know there isn't much profit margin considering the loading/unloading and storage in his building (all inside BTW). Pretty sure he doesn't deliver anything but every time I go I pick up about a 1/2 pallet or so and he has it ready and waiting for me If I tell him roughly what time I'm coming by. I couldn't be happier dealing with these people. He is a member of this forum and checks it out every night. I'm definitely glad I had the opportunity to meet these good people. :)
