Finally got it fixed. It was a bitch to do. Drain, solder, fill and repeat. Tried it three times and finally unsoldered the bad joints. As I said earlier this year's project is a re-do into a primary-secondary system. The joints that were leaking were part of the original piping. When I took them apart I could see re-soldering was never going to work. Corrosion was in the joint with only a small area of solder making the original joint. First tinned both the pipe and the fitting separately and re-assembled. Sweet success. Took more hours than I wanted to. But it's done. What I've learned is to unsolder and re-do pipe and fitting you plan to re-use.
