Well I haven't been on here in quite a while. I lit the stove tonight to get the chill out. I hate to hear that oil furnance kick on. I noticed the angle iron inside the door that covers the firebrick was nearly burnt through,. Took that out to make a new one and decided to light her up. Feels great 70 inside and 47 out. I'm sureI will let her go out before the final match of the season.

Was 23 here this AM, had to look three times and then check the computer for current conditions. It's just a scare tactic to see who can last till the end of the month. The Hand-fed guys used to call us 'Girlie-men' because we had stokers, heck, I didn't know any better....but I still don't ever run a hand-fed...even though I own 3 of them. Perhaps someday when I have a weak moment, I will fire on up. I do have 2 hand fed boilers I play with, just so that I know having a stoker was the right thing to do.
All anyone needs to do is stay comfortable,by whatever means. Laugh at the snow flurries on the's only a test.... :| :? :D  :!:
