Example of Faux News, go figure, it comes from Environmental Activist :

Pranksters stage fake press conference:
Pretending to be officials of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, activists announce the organization's endorsement of climate-change legislation, most of which the chamber has opposed. http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-chamber20-2009oct20,0,6827379.story

Do any of you leftists out there have any examples of right wingers going to such extremes to make their point?

I am earnestly curious if the right wing extremists go to such detailed efforts to pull the wool over the eyes of the press. This type of fraud is not just to get a message out but to unfairly influence people without any regard to the truth. It is a case of the end justifies any means.

What is sad is how many of those journalists would have been duped? Or how many would even care?

Notice the hatred for clean coal technology and the line that "clean coal doesn't exist". I have heard this phrase uttered by Van Jones (the former Enviro Czar).

At the 1:45 mark : "Magic Unicorns"

The Environmental Justice/Social Justice crowd are on the precipice of successfully implementing their agenda. They have a seat(s) at the highest levels in our government, are you ready to submit?

I don't think anyone would argue that both political parties through their respective resources would try to spin information to their advantage through all legal avenues.

The difference here is that private left wing conspirators sought to defraud the press and the people of the truth. Their efforts were orchestrated and illegal.

What I don't expect is for private citizen's groups like these clowns or Acorn to attempt to influence unfairly or to cause chaos such as this. One's identity is sacrosanct, that would be inclusive of corporate entities.

Erik, those people are not pretending to be real organizations that everyone would be familiar with. Trying to sell someone a can of water as cola is lot different than trying to sell them can of water as Coca Cola

It's actually worse. It's the government pretending they're not they are independent unbiased sources. They are supposed to represent us. These guys are independent.

This is Gonzo journalism, it's the same thing O'Keefe did to Acorn. I don't know who these clowns were, but the key phrase here is "pranksters". I am pretty sure this is the same guy who did the movie http://theyesmenfixtheworld.com/

Shame on the journos for falling for it (yet again).

Still, it's not quite easily dismissed as comedic prank for the sake of laughs.

Checking that link shows their affinity to many Enviro/Social Justice movements.

SEIU.....surprise.
