where is the cheapest bagged rice coal near Milford P.A.

Cheapest I found without going out to Scranton area was Outside Matters in Beach Lake/Honesdale. $185 a ton picked up for rice, not sure on delivered. 570-253-3555

I also live in conashaugh lakes i get my coal from outside matters in rice coal 185 a ton burns nice there premium is oiled i got some of both and mixxed it burns nice and hot

That is where I got mine as well, I am right down the road rom them. Do you feel that the oiled stuff actually burns hotter/better? I thought the oil was mainly to keep dust under control when the coal is dry

I have a buddy of mine who I just got started burning coal . I buy my coal delivered out of Honesdale Pa from U call we haul coal service. They been is business since the 70s. They sell a ton delivered for about 230 a ton. Which I think is a great deal and the offer fast service all year. 2 ton minimum delivered.

My buddy has a 10 ton dump with a coal shoot on his truck. So I went with him this past week to Tamackwa coal breaker, The trip was about 2 hours-15 min each way bouncing all the way . It was a good experience to see the breaker and all that

The coal at the breaker sells for 165 a ton so its a 65 per ton saving getting it yourself . But unless you buying 5 to 6 ton at once stay home . Not only did the fuel down cost 100 it took 5 hours round trip . Then it had to be shoveled from the back of the dump coal shoot to the bin by hand . He only bought 3 ton so for all that effort he saved 120.00 for a days trip. He was happy It was worth the experience, but I am happy to pay the differece and let guys from U call we haul pull up to the bin and pour it in, write the check and stay warm.
