You make my point - Czars do not exist or at least they are not supposed to.
If you are unable to see the difference in a “kitchen cabinet” that previous President’s have had versus what ever you want to call what Obama has I can’t help you. Besides, I didn't say Czars were ok for any President but it’s especially not ok to have Czars like Obama’s who have been given enormous decision making powers. Just look at the Payroll Czar - did you vote for this Czar - one unelected man in the federal government - to declare what was fair compensation for a job preformed. Yah, they took Tarp money, so what my point stands. Was this Czar approved by the Senate per the Constitution? Or the environmental Czar who is working with the EPA to place new restrictions on the public with no congressional oversight. Did you vote for him, did anyone? Did he undergo congressional vetting? No and why not? Could it be because the administration knew that the appointment wouldn’t happen if we were given the opportunity to examine the records?
Whether or not you want to recognize it this country is being "fundamentally transformed" just at Obama said he was going to do before the election and we have no one to blame but ourselves. We allowed this to happen. The fact of the matter is that elections have consequences and now we either have to change those consequences - through any legal means available - or learn to live with them. Our constitution has served us very well for over 200 years, providing the fame work that has given us the greatest standard of living ever imaginable. That's where we need to look to to turn things around.
Some one a few postings back asked why the “disgruntled” didn’t just impeach Obama. Obviously, we don’t have that power but neither did the “disgruntled” folks who sought R. Nixon’s impeachment; it took the outraged public to force the Republican Party to force Nixon to resign and it will take the outraged public to force the Democrats to deal with Obama and his overreaching of power. Again, I ask why are the Congressional democrats allowing this to happen, what's in it for them.
We must stand up now and ask the hard questions; make the hard decisions. Yeah, mistakes have been made in the past but I don’t look back, you can’t change history. You can try to hid the truth but that doesn't change anything. I look forward and see what I can do to make history and I encourage everyone to do the same. Get involved, call or write your Congressional representatives. Ask them what they are doing to challenge the current direction the Obama administration is moving the country. If you are are in favor of the things Obams is doing, call them - the interns answering the phones will be glad to speak with a friend. The switch board is hopping and most of it is not positive. Now is the time to take a stand for the Constitution and Liberty.
