First Fire in New VF 3000 Start-Up Settings ?

Hi just about set the manual on fire. About the only advise they give you is 4 min on 12 min off timer setting is this a good start ? On the A350 water tempsays to set differential set point? Same on S350 plus offset set point I have no clue on this . Any info on this or any settings will be very helpfull . I will try to get pics on soon Thanks to everyone for the help

My A350 is set to 160F diff. 5
my S350 is set offset to 15 and diff 5

All it means is once the water temp reaches 160 it stops feeding the coal,
then once the temp gets to 175 (offset 15) it dumps the heat until it drops to 170 (diff 5)
then it stops dumping.

Thank you for info . My only other question is they give me a round restrictor plate in the box of goodies and never again told where to put it ???

Ron,
That goes on the combustion blower intake fan. Horrible directions! The fan puts out more than needed so the restrictor plate limits it. Too much air from this fan can cause the unit to leak flue gas which is a CO hazard. Mine is closed about 3/4 of the way. If you smell a sulfur or rotten egg smell it's too open. This should be set with a manometer and an over the fire draft reading. You should have a CO detector for sure.
