If you're going to post letters on the signboard outside your restaurant please try and remember that it's "Corned Beef" not "Corn Beef".

Kind of hard not to know, every recipe starts with "Corned Beef".

Got a call from the girl in the office who turns timesheets into corporate so we can get paid.

'I'm putting your PTO day in for Thursday and it's telling me you don't have the time.'

Every year I get five PTO days and three weeks vacation. Well last year tgey screwed me out of firty hours of vacation. Shame on me, I didn't keep track of my time properly so I had no ammunition.

This year I'm tracking my time down to the minute. I immediately lose it on her. She tells me that I had to email all of my time off requests to her. I tell her because I forgot my laptop at home I couldn't do that. BUT thank the technology God's for giving me a smartphone. I logged onto the offices server and pulled up my calendar. I went all the way back to January and read off to her from January 1st to March 23.

Turns out, two of the days they claimed I didn't work I actually did. One of those days I was even in the office. Then she tells me that they printed one timesheet twice and she admitted to 'I don't check the dates. I just enter the time in.'

I'm getting paid for Thursday because they were wrong. But how can one do a job that they don't pay attention to?

Geeze, I don't know. Ask any politician, they could probably tell you.

Or keep a job when they constantly *censored* things up - like politicians ....... and weathermen.
