New Posts?

What constitutes * New* messages when I click on the *View Posts* New posts button?

Each time I visit?
Every other time I visit?
24hr period?

I believe it's based on the session length which is 1 hour, so if you don't visit in one hour you'll only get new posts in the past hour. If you kept clicking around at least once an hour forever it would never lose any.

While on the topic the "Active" link shows topics that have been active within the last 7 days by default but that can be changed using the sort option at the bottom.

Just to add if you log out it will clear too and you'll only get a list of new topics from the time you log out.

I use the new post tap all the time

Its great- holds posts all weekend when I am off fooling around.

Also since I had drama logging in -- I use the delete cookies link at the bottom, quite often in place of logging off.

Using the delete cookies button to log off will work but I may start to use that for other features in the future. Other than the auto login feature the only information it contains that I can think of is the font size selection.
