MA doesn't have a constitution that I'm aware of. If we do, it's been doctored to fit the politically correct society here.... :sick:

Wow....just as good if not better than the US Constitution. I ecspecially like section 21. It is funny how laws keep getting past that nibble away at our rights as citizens. Well maybe funny isn't the right word.

OK, I'm going to make a stab at writing what I think they meant in launguage I can understand.......If the legislature passes a law convicting an individual or group of some crime without a trial, they cannot use that conviction as justification for punishing the desendents of the convicted person(s) and cannot sieze the estate that might still exist from the convicted persons desendents after the convicted persons death. Am I way off? It is hard to believe that something like that would have to be spelled out in a constitution.

Section 18 only prohibits the legeslature from the conviction people without trials for felonies or treason but doesn't ban the attainder altogether. I find that curious.
