I just took a piece of the old gasket with me to the genric stove store and got what matched. Neither the Lowes or Home Depot in Northern VA carries that kind of stuff. I'm lucky if Lowes carries black stove pipe. Lisa

Lisa, do you have any TSC's down there? They probably carry it too. Or order online.... probably cheaper than your local stove shop

Hi Chris,

I doubt if we have a TSC becasue I don't even know what it is. I looked at on line but the cost of shipping put the price about equal so since I have to go to coal country for my coal, I just stopped at a stove store while I was there and got everything I needed at one time. The internet had indicated the store I chose had coal stoves but it didn't. It made for pleasant extention of my road trip anyway. :)

Thanks, is that the one on RT 15 just west of 270. I noticed a big new building with a lot of tractors out front. The next time I'm in Jefferson for coal I'll check it out. Thanks, Lisa

I just did my Mark III with the kit from Lowes. 5/8" with clear cement. It has worked real good and for only $8 or so. You'll need 2 kits but you'll have lot's of glue left over for the next job were you can buy just the gasket.

I tried 1/2 in Rutlands kit and it wasn't good. Both the cement and rope wasn't worth the money to me. IT was twice as much as Lowes kit. Plus the 1/2 didn't seal good at all.
