Plumb-r,
We've known of this issue since around this time last year. It does not cause damage to the motors or the stove in any way, it is a sound/noise annoyance more than anything else.
As WNY said, the workaround for this is to lower your CFT setting to just below your normal idle FR reading. Alternatively, given it is still pretty warm out and you're probably running low FR's still, set the CFT higher so it only comes on when there is a need for a kick of heat.
You can also use manual fan control to set the speed of the fan where you want it. The fan control will revert to automatic when the feedrate gets high enough for enough time. However, with lower FR's the manual fan mode should hold for a long time, avoiding the start/stop cycling issue.
If neither of these is satisfactory please feel free to contact us (315-299-3589) to arrange to have a software fix installed on the thermostat. You will be without the thermostat and the use of the stove for a few days while the thermostat is shipping and being updated, so if you want this done it is better to get it done soon or else wait until after this heating season.
