I just figured out how to do this, so In case anyone is interested: To use the degree symbol like 200° F use alt+ 0176.

You can access a whole bunch of symbols in windows by going to:

Start :arrow:

All programs :arrow:

Accessories :arrow:

System tools :arrow:

Character Map

You can drag and drop them right into the posting pane -or- highlight and select copy. If you look down in the lower right it will tell you what the keystroke is. Not all of them have keystokes.

I've been wondering for the last 8 years I've owned a cpu how the hell to do that! °°°°IT appears the moment you release the ALT key. ╥ from ALT 1234. WOW this is great! All kinds of symbols! :punk:

ALT S is used instead of clicking the SUBMIT button in this thread.

For Firefox you need to use alt+shift and the letter . There's actually a few keys, try L .

Edit: ahh damn, my joke doesn't work in IE:

alt + Access Key focuses on the link, but requires ↵ Enter to be pressed in order to activate the link

If you did it firefox you get logged out.
