I think she would make a great president. Maybe as good as Reagan? Im not saying she would be perfect, no president ever was or will be. they all have their flaws no matter what party they are from. I know with out a doubt our country would be in a lot better shape if she was the president, and not barack obama. Thats obvious.

Obama has an Approval Index rating of -15. This is the lowest Approval Index rating yet measured for President Obama

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_ ... cking_poll

Its also obvious that most americans dont approve of obama. 45% approve and 54% disapprove.

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_ ... ex_history

Palin would of been a better choice for president over obama. Hell she can even sell more books then obama.

If it was so good for Obama, why stonewall Fox now? Obama simply didn't face difficult questioning repeatedly by the press as did Hillary and others. They questioned Palin more than they questioned McCain or Obama. The press is biased. Obama got a free ride. That is the point....

No, Mike, the point is that you are almost never accurate in your many and prolix assertions. You easily could have asked why Obama only did one interview with Fox.

But you didn't. You wrote,
He didn't even have the guts to face Fox.

You were wrong, it's been proved, and you're not man enough to admit it. Or is it the "guts?"

I'd say "nice try" but it wasn't. It was your usual smokescreen.

Smokescreen? Hardly. I make this assertion with God as my witness:

I admit that I make loose comments from recall (after all, it's still an informal discussion isn't it?), but this isn't one of those times. I had originally added a line to my post to the effect "...except O'Reilly's interview with Obama" and removed it because I wanted to know if you actually were aware of it. I know Erik knows the right wing perspective but I wasn't sure you took the time. I retracted the line to test your knowledge and to simplify the post. It was a quickly and poorly conceived ploy. Quite frankly, I did it because I have the same opinion of you -- you make many inaccurate off-the-cuff assertions but you do so with unshakable lawyerly confidence; you are an irritating blowhard with a sharp tongue. I wanted to see how knowledgable you really were and what smokescreens you might throw up. In the process I would either learn more about you or have to say "oops" and move on to why Obama was recently stonewalling Fox after granting an interview in the campaign. The question was decidedly directed to you. Erik blew my chance by butting in. It backfired miserably. Touche.

Just as I suspected: more prolix, more dodging, no "oops," no "guts."

In fact, you now admit you not only are sometimes casually inaccurate but that you purposefully made a false assertion in order to test another board member (in this case, me). Which raises the question: how often have you and do you make knowingly false statements on this board (for whatever tactical purposes your beliefs may impel)? And of course I mean when those false statements are not caught.

Mike, that's exactly what a "smokescreen" is: an artifice meant to distract and/or misinform.

That's why you're not a "credible witness" here, Mike. Everything you say is now suspect. As it should be.

That is really hilarious coming from someone whose whole profession revolves around the skilled and artful telling of lies. I've stayed out of the Palin debate because while I think she is an honest, genuine person, a rarity in modern politics, I also think that she is not a viable national candidate. She'll be a great rain maker for the GOP though.

Now you are doing what YOU do best. The only way to fight a character assassination is to understand better the character of your assailant. You are the only one who attacks my character, thus, you require a different approach.

You are obviously still miffed from many threads ago when you tried to present your JD as a scholarly legal degree and I challenged that. That's when your attacks on my character began.

As for being suspicious of what people say. Isn't that how a lawyer treats everyone? Isn't it your goal in defending your client to paint them in the best light by leaving out some of the truth? To tell only that portion of the truth that places them in the best light and to tell only those truths that paint the plaintiff or the state in the worst way?

Answer this question please: Would you ever admit that you are casually inaccurate, or clever in your questioning?

I did.

I certainly wish I was more clever, because your bullying needs tearing down.

You guys are hilarious. I have NEVER posted anything knowingly false here. And not one of you can demonstrate otherwise.

Those of you who think my profession involves telling lies simply demonstrate that you don't know a thing about it. My profession entails "advocacy," which is interpreting the facts most favorably to your interest, or that of your client. Not knowing misrepresentation, which should and does get you sanctioned. And that's no different than what we do here on the issues which interest us.

Mike, on the other hand, has just admitted that he posted affirmatively false information here. The still unanswered question is how many times that's happened when he hasn't been caught.

Funny to see who isn't interested in the answer to that question.
