now that is a nice set up... Nice install.. Here in my area the big push is with these outdoor wood furnaces.... Nothing more than a wood waster!!! If you dont mind me asking what does a unit like that cost??? Just the boiler not the install??? I know you can spend between 5 and 10 thousand for a wood waster... and before its all said and done. and when I say done, I mean done right you can have upwards of 12 to 15 thousand total.. Very nice. I saw one of the same design but as it fed the fuel the same gear box and auger got rid of the ash out the back...

the boiler is about 10,000 the stoker is a big expense ,stokermatic and wilbert stoker assy cost right at 3500 and stokermatic isnt building any more ,the same company has another unit that burns wood or lump coal or you can add a stoker assy( homesteader) http://www.heatinnovations.com/
ive got a lot in it but i believe it will last if it dont i will probaly be so sick i might just burn the building and try to get insurance and think of it as my stimulus check!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice install.

I'm surprised that some of the Anthricite Boiler makers haven't done something like this. With the popularity of OWB's around here. You could keep the dust of coal out of your house.

hey guys thanks for all the compliments on the install and the stove its been burning now since nov 15 and it seems the colder it gets the more efficiently it burns im using 100 lbs of coal per day and no smoke at full burn a little white smoke at idle i load hopper every 5-6 days and empty ash every 3 days the unit is very dependable and insulated great , i can see the ash auger will be this year and next season for a auger to load the hopper, trying to make this a once a week adventure, once it gets colder im going to lean the coal back a little more and readjust my combustion air setting try to get down to 80 or 90 lbs per day
thanks again for all the compliments

it is a wil-burt transmission but no stokermatic parts getting a few klinkers but not bad slowed the feed down and have to get air set right, it will heat any thing you want it to very pleased with it .
