I`ve posted a few times on this forum and just wanted to give a great thank you to those who started this forum and to the regulars and others that post their helps and hints. What a nice friendly community of people and what a nice fun yet functional hobby or heating lifestyle . Hats off, from up in Alberta.

Yup, sure is a nice place here.

Alberta? Wowza.... I picture you never shutting the stove off! But,,,, I'll bet you have a warm season at some point. Must be beautiful up there.

Hey oldwhiskey, glad that you've found us down here south of the boarder :D What area are you heating with your 2310 and how long are your burn times?

Hi pea burner. I'm heating a 1680ft2 1955 bungalow. I'm just using it to supplement my natural gas furnace and warm our chilly basement since our daughters bedroom is down there. Mostly it's to sit by have a few whiskies and play cards or ponder life. I've run a bit of coal through it, half full @ 600deg I got about 5 hours. Since it's been abnormally warm here I've been using wood and tossing a shovel or two of coal on top (really gets the wood burning since mines a bit green). I'm in the middle of renos I'd like to send pics when I'm done.
