I'm getting rid of my US Stove 1557 coal furnace and putting in a Hitzer 82FA. I see where a few of you have Hitzer stoves. Does anyone have the 82 FA.

Don--

Let us know how it works out for you. Does this model have a fan/blower? How does the thermostat control function? I am curious to learn how this unit is designed. The Hitzer page doesn't offer much in the way of tech specs.
I don't see a hopper so I am lead to believe it is handfired? If so, what the dems of the firebox? Thanks

Love it. Does a great job. Very easy to maintain. Built a fire the day I got it and its been going ever since. Burned stove coal for about the first month, then switched to nut. I like the nut much better.
