I can get 1 ton of coal in the back of my truck and I have a pickup box trailer that easily fits 1 ton of coal as well, so in one trip I can get 2 tons. Here is a picture of the pickup box trailer and my storage container (the cardboard gaylord boxes)

Enjoy

I actually bought it on Ebay down by Philly. I did some mods to the frame, I was happy about the 3/4 ton box, heavy duty and loves to haul coal, wood chips or whatever I can throw in it. The wife hates it, but just another reason to keep it. lol

I live in Shamokin and get my coal from Harmony in Mt. Carmel. I know for tight spaces Danny Jones will deliver for a decent price. He has a high lift and a tow behind conveyor that he can set up to get into odd places and around corners. He'll get whatever size from wherever you want and deliver it right into your bin for about 15 - 20 a ton depending on how it's set up.
