Vent Pipe

Could anyone tell me how high I need to raise my chimney vent pipe above the roof. I will not be bringing it out at the ridge. I guess it will be maybe 2 feet up from the roof drip edge and my roof is a 4/12 pitch. Also total lenth of rafters is 20 feet.
