Thanks tvb. Looking forward to trying some new varieties. A friend of mine is a wizard with apples and grafting. He has 20 different varieties growing on the same tree. A lot of them heirlooms. That takes too much time though :(

Had the same problem here in NY. The blight wiped out almost everyones tomato crop. Where do you get your heirloom varieties?[/quote]

I think the cat. is called totally tomatos, although I do save seeds. The heirloom types are less defensive to diesease than the big boy tuff guy type.

That's me and my grandson Nick at Beltzville Lake 9-30-07. I am responsible for the maintenance and upkeep on our CG Auxiliary's 22' shallow draft patrol boat. It is a Wooldridge, all aluminum with a 351 Windsor driving a Hamilton 775 jet. It carries 120 gallons of gas. Some call it a floting duck blind while others just refer to it as "Miss Ugly." As usual, no one is available to help unless the boat is sitting ready for someone to drive it. As it was the end of the season, I had to get my son in law to go along to help me pull it as the dock we kept it was 1 1/2 miles through the woods from the ramp. We took the grandson along to give him his first boat ride. As all good boaters should do, PFD's or life jackets are worn whenever that boat leaves the dock.

Here I am atop Mt. Coburn in Maine last March. It was a tough climb on the sleds as the trail was rutted 3' deep covered in ice. Only studs would get you to the top. But it was well worth the effort. The previous year, the summit was covered in fog almost from the base. Ice was 2" thick on the branches. You Mainers do have some great trail riding. One year I will get up to Ft. Kent to maybe check on Bob. But he'll probably want me to haul some coal on a trailer.

Ok, here I am in Canada last summer on Price Edward Island. Was having dinner at in a fine seafood restaurant. I did not know the lady until we met in the restaurant. It was full house and I offered here a seat next to me. We had a great time.
My cheeks were red from riding the motorcycle all day in the sun.

Ala Lemmy from Motorhead. If I could grow a full beard, I'd try out all different styles.

You have a sharp eye. I'm just waiting for this one to bite the dust so I can justify getting one that is intergated with the GPS. This one is controlled by an internal compass. I'm constantly tweeking it to stay on course.
