I'm trying to devise a way of displaying multiple room temps & humidity that I can monitor from my PC. Anyone know of such a system that would have multiple sensors to scatter around the house but monitor from my PC?
Thanks

Closest I could find is this

Not computer based & the extra remote is a little pricey but it'll do the job.

I saw that too but it seems most complaints aren;'t important to me. (no memory feature, etc)brckwlt wrote:that looks pretty good. its on amazon for 60 I think. but it only has a 3 1/2 star rating overall and some 1 and 2 star ratings
I took a chance an actually did order it from Amazon with one additional sensor.
Keep me updated I want to know if you like it. I am looking for something similar. How many rooms can you monitor at one time, and what did you pay for it, if you don't mind me askingCarlos wrote:I saw that too but it seems most complaints aren;'t important to me. That was for the unit itself & one extra sending unit. (that will give me 3 indoor & one outdoor reading unless I use the outdoor one upstair somewhere. (I alrfeady have enough outdoor thermmeters)
Should be here by 12/15 & I'll post my thoughts (the ad says you can monitor up to 4 separate indoor locations plus the outdoor one. (means you'd be spending $90.00 for the extra remotes though)
Just got it yesterday & I like it! I even sent for another remote sensor which will then give me outdoor temp + four indoor temp/humidity readings.brckwlt wrote:Carlos,
Did your Oregon Scientific Multi-Room Indoor-Climate Monitor and Clock with Weather Forecaster arrive yet? and if it did how do you like it so far. im eager for an update!
(btw.....the outdoor sensor was in the living room & the bedroom temp sensor hasn't been installed yet...so the readings on the monitor are not accurate in this pic)
I printed the sensor locations on a little Brother label printer. The unit comes with a few plastic blanks for locations but you have to make your own labels.
